Get the Meaning Behind our Upcoming Song Releases + Access to Giveaways

Northwest Stories is a songwriting duo made up of Adam Fink and RJ Rouse. Adam is originally from the Seattle area, and RJ is from Boise. They are currently based out of Meridian, Idaho.

Their goal with music is to write songs that will uplift people. Artist's that inspire the duo include: Gregory Alan Isakov, Jon Bellion, Coldplay, and Ben Rector.

In the very essence of being an independent duo, every single part of the music creation process, from songwriting to mixing/mastering, is handled in-house by Adam and RJ.

Adam and RJ followed each other on social media for a while because they were fans of each other's individual work, but officially met back at the beginning of 2021 when Adam moved to Meridian, where RJ was currently living.

They liked each other's styles and enjoyed working together so much that they decided to combine their efforts into Northwest Stories at the end of 2021.

Zach Moss

Moss grew up in Boise, Idaho with a mind full of words and an instrument he didn’t know he needed. Buying his first guitar for a beginners guitar class at his local high school, he wrote his first song 10 years later and realized it was the first time he knew exactly where he was. It’s how he’s talked to himself ever since, discovering his voice to be slow, brutal, and honest. Finding his inspiration in artists such as Bon Iver, Ben Howard, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
